by Padbike ASD
Ride freely through one of Italy's most iconic landscapes, where rolling hills seem painted by hand, white gravel roads fade into the horizon, and medieval villages rise against an endless sky. The Val d'Orcia e-bike tour from Pienza is an experience to be lived at your own pace, with no rush, letting the beauty of every bend in the road guide you.
Once the tour is booked, you can come to our rental point to collect the bikes, so you can start with our virtual guide, which will accompany you step by step.
Discover the iconic landscapes of Val d'Orcia on a scenic self-guided e-bike tour around Pienza, through rolling hills, panoramic roads, and postcard-perfect locations.
The route follows a loop of about 25 km, to be completed in approximately two and a half to three hours including stops. The itinerary has a gentle, rolling profile, with short climbs and smooth descents on scenic secondary roads, making the ride always enjoyable and varied.
The surface alternates between paved roads and white gravel roads, offering a dynamic yet accessible experience, perfect for immersing yourself in the landscapes of Val d'Orcia at a relaxed pace. Along the way, you will encounter some of the area's most iconic spots, including the famous settings from the film Gladiator, as well as the surroundings of Bagno Vignoni and San Quirico d'Orcia.
The return to Pienza takes place along very scenic white roads, offering wide open views and an especially suggestive finale.
This tour is ideal for a day outdoors, to be enjoyed at an easy pace. In the quieter and less serviced sections, we recommend bringing water, a snack, and a fully charged phone so you can enjoy the experience with complete peace of mind.
