Private tour of the Boboli Gardens

Discover together with a professional tour guide the secrets, the symbols and beauty hidden within the Boboli Gardens in this 1 hour long tour.

The Garden was once only a vineyard on a hillside, but when the Medici got to power in Florence in the 16th century this all changed. They enlarged the Pitti Palace and transformed the hill behind it into one of the world's most important and well-known gardens thanks to artists like Tribolo, Ammannati, Buontalenti and more.

Together we will see the most iconic part of the Garden, talk about the statues, the grottos and of course about the Medici family. At the end of the visit you can continue exploring the rest of this immense garden on your own.

I'm a local florentine architect and an official tour guide. I love transmitting my passion for the city I grew up in and for its fascinating history. The Boboli tour is a nice break from the crowded sights of the right river bank and gives the chance to absorb culture, history and beauty just by walking the quiet paths of the garden.
