This tour offers the possibility to experience the Tuscan capital from a different point of view, the historical one. Through the most important events and by retracing the history of the city's most influential families, we will really get to know Florence.
We will begin our journey with the history of the Medici dynasty, from the moment they arrived in Florence until their disappearance. We will get to know their noble residence, Palazzo della Signoria, and discover the treasures and secrets it holds.
We will then uncover some of the enemies of the Medici such as the Strozzi and Pitti families, their powers and the relationships between them. Finally we will compare their Renaissance palaces with the typical rusticated stone.
The tour is suitable for adults and children, lasts about 5 hours and the price is valid for groups (not per person). Payment must be made by bank transfer at least 3 days before the date of the tour.
Date and time will be agreed at the time of booking. Reservations must be made by email.

Meeting point
Programme
In the morning we will leave from the Duomo and arrive at Piazza della Signoria where we will visit the interior of the Palazzo della Signoria. After a break for lunch, we will proceed to the Uffizi Gallery and then cross the Ponte Vecchio with its shops. Then we will face the great palace of Palazzo Pitti.
Later we will visit the Oltrarno part, Via Maggio, to appreciate the Palazzo Bianca Cappello. Afterwards we will cross Ponte Santa Trinita and Via Tornabuoni dotted with shops with big names (Gucci, Cavalli, Dior, Ferragamo, Versace...).
The tour will end in Piazza degli Strozzi to see the Palazzo Strozzi. Finally, we will compare the houses we have seen.

The eventual cancellation of the tour must be received by e-mail at silviatuscanytour@gmail.com no later than 3 days before the date of the visit. If the cancellation is not notified within this date, the payment will be of 100% of the agreed price.
