FATTORIA LA TANCIA

Nestled in the Val di Pesa countryside, in Barberino Tavarnelle, Fattoria La Tancia is a historic farmstead whose roots date back to the Medici era. With a history stretching back to the 14th century, the estate has succeeded in preserving the architecture and spirit of traditional Tuscan country houses, whilst incorporating modern cellars and technology for wine production.  

Its approximately 170 hectares of land, cultivated with passion and under family management, are largely devoted to vineyards and olive groves. This is where some of the region’s most iconic products are produced, ranging from great reds such as Chianti Classico DOCG and Chianti Colli Fiorentini to extra virgin olive oil and the traditional Vin Santo.
